You got it. Why it is important to plan your holiday shopping event NOW.
By Guest Contributor Gary Galonek, Raving Partner, Incentive Merchandise and Loyalty Fulfillment, & National Sales Manager, Gaming, All Star Incentive Marketing
If you’re like my mother-in-law, the arrival of Halloween signals that it is time to kick the Christmas shopping into high gear. And while I take the opposite approach, and often find myself locking up with store proprietors on December 24, it is most definitely not too early to start planning a fourth quarter casino shopping event. These events have become a staple for some operators in driving foot traffic during an otherwise slow period. They range in size and scope; from a couple of days in a high traffic foyer, to a week or more in a grand ballroom.
First, let’s talk about why you need to start planning in the summer for a winter event:

You’ll want [...]

A Business Built Around Rewards

Wednesday, June 13th, 2012

BY SUSAN SHALHOUB
SPECIAL TO THE WORCESTER BUSINESS JOURNAL
(Family Business Awards Honoree | Category: 25-74 full-time employees)
Brian Galonek, president of All Star Incentive Marketing, readily admits that even his wife doesn’t always know how to describe his company. It isn’t like he’s a firefighter or schoolteacher — where everyone knows what your work involves.
Premium products? Employee incentives? They may not be familiar terms to many, but it’s what the Galoneks — Ed Sr., Ann, and their children, Gary, Brian and Ed Jr. — do best: inspiring others to do their best.
Simply put: incentive marketing helps businesses recognize employees for good performance, following safe workplace practices, or rewarding loyal customers.
For example, incentives — or premiums — are in effect when you buy a plastic coffee jug at Dunkin Donuts (one of All Star’s first customers) and use it to get future refills at a discount. “It’s how to motivate behavior,” said Brian [...]

Friday, January 27th, 2012

Since 2007, Mohegan Sun Resort Casino has retained All Star Incentive Marketing to assist with seasonal event and promotions gift sourcing. Today, All Star continues to actively support Mohegan Sun’s effort to create positive gifting experiences.
One of the more unique and inspiring ideas to brighten the day of casino patrons at the 2011 Mohegan Sun Mother’s Day event was the “Just Add Ice – Orchid” offering. This idea originated when All Star’s Vice President of Marketing & Operations presented a “Just Add Ice – Orchid” as a birthday gift to All Star’s Premium Sales Manager. Mohegan Sun wanted to pursue a similar option for their 2011 Holiday appreciation event. This time, the product of choice was Poinsettias. An order of 5,000 Poinsettias was placed and delivered to Mohegan Sun in time for the 2011 Holiday season.
The idea was so well received, that this new cheerful theme is being considered [...]
